A Meaningful Exchange of Ideas, Service & Collaboration

On 27th March 2026, members of the BNI (Business Network International) – Vega Chapter visited Sathya Sai Grama for an engaging and purposeful interaction. The delegation was led by Abhilash M (President), along with Ashita Yaji (Vice President) and Nithesh HM (Secretary/Treasurer).

The visit commenced with a meeting at the Krupashraya Conference Room, followed by a guided tour of the ashram campus. The interaction provided a valuable platform for exchange of ideas, collaboration opportunities, and referrals, reflecting BNI’s core philosophy of “Givers Gain.”

BNI, one of the world’s largest business networking organizations, spans 76 countries with over 3.5 lakh members, fostering business growth through structured referrals and strong professional relationships. In India alone, the organization has demonstrated significant economic impact through millions of referrals and substantial business generation.

The visiting members expressed great appreciation for the initiatives at Sathya Sai Grama and showed keen interest in continued engagement. As a gesture of support, the BNI Vega Chapter made a contribution to Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, reinforcing their commitment to social impact.

Address by Sai Prasad Ivaturi

Trustee & CFO, Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust

During the visit, Sai Prasad Ivaturi delivered an insightful address, highlighting the broader vision and mission of the Trust.

He emphasized the stark realities of inequality, noting that while India is rapidly progressing economically, a significant portion of the population still lacks access to basic necessities such as nutrition, education, and healthcare. He stressed that true development lies in inclusive growth, where no one is left behind.

Drawing from the principle of “One World, One Family,” he explained that the Trust focuses on uplifting those at the bottom of the socio-economic pyramid. The Annapoorna initiative addresses classroom hunger by providing nutritious health supplements to government school children, enabling better concentration, improved attendance, and enhanced learning outcomes.

He further highlighted the integrated ecosystem at Sathya Sai Grama, which includes:

  • Large-scale nutrition programs serving children across India
  • Educational institutions from school to university level
  • Healthcare initiatives, including free medical services and institutions
  • Skill development and holistic learning opportunities

He reiterated that service must be delivered with professional excellence and compassion, ensuring dignity and quality for every beneficiary.

Inviting participation, he encouraged the BNI members to engage, collaborate, and contribute in ways that align with their strengths, reinforcing that collective efforts can create lasting societal impact.

A Step Towards Collaborative Impact

The visit marked a meaningful convergence of entrepreneurial spirit and service-oriented vision. The shared values of giving back to society created a strong foundation for future collaborations.

The enthusiasm of the BNI members, combined with their willingness to contribute, reflects the power of collective action in addressing real-world challenges.

Such interactions not only strengthen partnerships but also pave the way for scalable, sustainable impact, ensuring that initiatives like Annapoorna continue to reach and nourish millions of children.
