Meeting with Government officials at the Directorate of Public Instruction Campus Chennai, Tamil Nadu – 25th May 2022
The Annapoorna team met first with the Honorable Director of Elementary school education – Dr G Arivoli and respected IPS officer Illam Thedi Kalvi & Thiru K. Elambahavath in charge of the midday meal scheme wrt morning nutrition to Government school going children. Pushkar Raghavan & Monisha Ranjan who are Hon. Consultants, CSR Partner Alliances represented from Annapoorna Trust. Thus, Annapoorna has always strived for the association with all 3 – Sarkara (Government), Samaja (Society) and Samstha (Good institutions). When all 3 work in tandem with each other much is been achieved holistically.
The Government of Tami Nadu in their academic manifesto for the year 2022 has promised free breakfast to Government school going children all over the state. They were inspired by Annapoorna Trust when we had first approached the state Government for permission to restart breakfast scheme post COVID.
