Meeting with CSR Team of NTPC, Sonebhadra, Uttar Pradesh – 26th May 2022
On 26 May 2022, Ashish Bhardwaj – Manager – Operations, CSR Partners And Govt Alliances representing Annapoorna Trust met Om Prakash – CSR Senior manager & their team members in NTPC Plant at Sonebhadra, Uttar Pradesh. It is the only district in India which borders four states, namely Madhya Pradesh to the west, Chhattisgarh to the south, Jharkhand in the south-east and Bihar to the north-east.
Sonebhadra district comes under the ambit of ‘Transformation of Aspirational Districts’ initiative launched during Jan 2018 by Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Under this initiative, NITI Aayog monitors real-time progress made in 49 indicators from five areas — health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, basic infrastructure, financial inclusion, and skill development.
Taking this into consideration, in making our country progress, Ashish and Om Prakash had a lengthy discussion on various parameters as to how Annapoorna Trust’s nutritional intervention SaiSure can be best utilised for the growing child in the district of Sonebhadra. Om Prakash was positive into taking the proposal to their management. He was also of the opinion that, this is an opportunity for the company to join hands in Building the Nation through Nutrition.
