Building Nation through free Nutrition, Education and Healthcare for needy children in Hyderabad, Feb 19th 2022

Access to good nutrition, education and healthcare is the fundamental right of every child of any nation. With this noble thought, a small gathering of responsible citizens for Building Nation through free Nutrition, Education and Healthcare for needy children was held on Feb-19, 2022 at Marigold Hotel in Hyderabad. This event was organized by Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust and hosted by noted playback singer Kunal Ganjawala. Businessmen, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals across various verticals participated in the event. They provided their inputs and shared their experiences on the practical and demonstrated results achieved at the grassroot level.

Mr. Anand Kadali – Trustee & Secretary, Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust advocated the role of Sarkaara (Government), Samstha (Good Institutions) and Samaja (Society and individuals at large) in tackling large scale, and often, vexing problems in our country today. He voiced the various means and avenues by which Annapoorna Trust can partner with CSR partners and likeminded institutions in building the Nation through Nutrition.

Mr. Dil Raju, a renowned film producer and distributor shared his experience of social service which he started in his native, Nizamabad where he adopted many schools to undertake morning nutrition program in a decentralized manner. His elder brother, Mr. Vijaya Simha Reddy also took a key part in overlooking various aspects of the service project. This has resulted in rural communities coming forward to support the morning nutrition and thereby, improving their livelihoods.
Mr. Kunal Ganjawala interacted with many of them and shared his personal experiences with Bhagavan Sathya Sai Baba and Sadguru Madhusudan Sai. He also shared his thoughts with regards to various challenges and hardships faced in Bollywood industry. He emphasised the importance of Hyderabad youths and entrepreneurs of having service & spiritual bent of mind which would aid in overcoming challenges in the outside world with ease. Finally, he personally interacted with the audience.

Mr. Sai Prasad Ivaturi, Trustee and Treasurer of the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, gave the vote of thanks. He wholeheartedly thanked Mr. Kunal Ganjawala, organisers and sponsors for organising the event and motivating the Hyderabad youth to start something new from the grassroots. He concluded the talk by saying, this is only a beginning for all good times to fructify in the near future.
