Feeding India by Zomato – Ferrero Rocher Chocolate distribution at Govt schools, May 2022
Zomato India in collaboration with Annapoorna Trust came forward to distribute Ferrero Rocher Chocolate in the states of Karnataka & Telangana. This is only a start for the long-term association with Zomato India in the days to come. Feeding India by Zomato is a not-for-profit organization, designing interventions to reduce hunger among underserved communities in India. Under the Daily Feeding Program, they also serve daily meals to people in need across India.
In Karnataka, Annapoorna staff & volunteers distributed in Government schools in Chikkaballapur district. From May 16 till May 20, more than 41,520 chocolates were distributed to 13,000 children across 182 schools predominantly in Chikkaballapur, Bagepalli & Gowribidanur taluks.

Likewise in Telangana, distribution of chocolates took place at Government schools & also orphanages in Hyderabad & Siddipet districts. Schools in Telangana got reopened on 13-June. It was a pleasant surprise for the children to receive delicious chocolates on the first day itself. Close to 10,000 children were welcomed with chocolates. Select schools in Siddipet district were chosen where our regular breakfast is being served. The children were surprised and happy to receive this welcome gift.
