SaiSure & Kellogg’s Project launch in Gowribidanur – Karnataka, June 6th 2022
Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust in collaboration with Kellogg’s has initiated Morning Nutrition Program for Rural Students in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Total of 5128 students from both the states will be benefited by this program under “Feeding Programme for under privileged children”.
The Kellogg company, popularly known as Kellogg’s, is a food manufacturing company and world’s leading producer of cereal and convenience foods including cookies, snacks, protein bars etc. With its presence worldwide, the company works with the vision of “A good and just world where people are not just fed but fulfilled.”
On 6th June 2022, the event took place in Government Model Higher Primary School, Hudugur Village, Gowribidanur taluk of Chikkaballapur district in Karnataka. Children are served morning nutrition all 6 days a week. Kellogg’s with hot milk will be provided for 3 days a week. Each child will be served with 30 gms of Kellogg’s cereal with 15 gms of milk powder & 150 ml of water. Likewise, SaiSure multi nutrient health mix will be provided to children for remaining 3 days of the week. Each child will be served 10 gms of SaiSure with 15 gms of milk powder & 150 ml of water. 2565 children are identified in 4 clusters of Gowribidanur taluk namely Hudugur, Vatadahoshalli, Nagaragere & D Palya.
