Sodexo’s continued partnership with the Annapoorna Trust towards the Morning Nutrition Program

Sodexo, a global leader in integrated facilities management and food services, has continued its impactful partnership with the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust for the Morning Nutrition Programme, extending into the year 2024–25.

As a company deeply connected to food and nutrition, Sodexo’s involvement is a wonderful and meaningful collaboration. The partnership, which began in 2023, has helped ensure that thousands of schoolchildren start their day with a nutritious meal.

During the 2024–25 academic year, Sodexo partnered with Annapoorna Trust in serving 2,072 students across several regions in Tamil Nadu:

  • In Hosur, Tenkasi, and Krishnagiri, children received the SaiSure Ragi Fortified Health Mix with Jaggery, a blend rich in iron, calcium, and other essential nutrients.
  • In Chennai, students were provided with a cooked breakfast, offering a wholesome start to the school day.

In total, 1,45,040 servings were distributed during the year.

By partnering with the Annapoorna Trust, Sodexo has shown how corporate entities can leverage their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to make a meaningful and lasting impact, particularly in rural and semi-urban communities.

The SaiSure Fortified Health Mix has played a vital role in ensuring that thousands of schoolchildren begin their day with a nutritious meal—leading to improved health, concentration, and school attendance.

This collaboration is a testament to the power of values-driven partnerships, working toward a future where no child goes to school hungry, ever!
