CSR Conclave 2026 Charts a Collaborative Roadmap for Viksit Bharat, Honours Transformative CSR Leaders
Sathya Sai Grama, Karnataka: The Second Edition of the CSR Conclave 2026 – Reforming CSR for Viksit Bharat concluded successfully at Sathya Sai Grama, bringing together an exceptional gathering of policymakers, industry leaders, regulators, philanthropists, academicians, media professionals, and social sector practitioners to reimagine the future of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India.
Organised by the Prasanthi Balamandira Trust in association with the One World One Family Mission, the two-day conclave explored how strategic partnerships, innovative financing mechanisms such as the Social Stock Exchange (SSE), transparent governance, and measurable impact can transform CSR from a statutory obligation into a powerful instrument for nation building.
Visionary Leadership for a Developed India
The inaugural session featured distinguished dignitaries including Shri S. Ramadorai, Chairman of the CSR Conclave 2026; Shri M. Damodaran, Former Chairman, SEBI; Dr. S. Ravi, Former Chairman, BSE; Shri K. R. Lakshminarayana, Chief Endowment Officer, Azim Premji Investments; Shri Raghuvir Srinivasan, Editor, The Hindu BusinessLine; Shri Shashi Kiran Shetty, Founder & Chairman, Allcargo Group; and Shri Mithilesh Kumar Tiwari, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Government of Bihar.
Throughout the conclave, speakers consistently reinforced that India’s aspiration of becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047 depends on investing in people through nutrition, education, healthcare, skill development, transparent governance, and collaborative leadership.
Shri S. Ramadorai highlighted that India’s greatest strength lies in its people and called for trusted institutions capable of connecting corporate intent with measurable social outcomes.
Shri M. Damodaran observed that CSR has evolved from compliance into an expression of compassion, while Dr. S. Ravi stressed the importance of credible implementation partners that can deliver measurable impact with transparency and accountability.
Shri K. R. Lakshminarayana described the Social Stock Exchange as a transformational mechanism capable of addressing the challenges of scale, trust, and sustainable funding.
Shri Raghuvir Srinivasan emphasised that CSR is entering a new era where media, institutions, and industry can collectively amplify impactful social initiatives.
Shri Shashi Kiran Shetty called for greater investments in India’s social infrastructure, while Shri Mithilesh Kumar Tiwari described Sathya Sai Grama as a living example of national unity and compassionate service.

Delivering the keynote address, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, Founder of the CSR Conclave 2026, reaffirmed that economic progress alone cannot build a developed nation. Instead, he emphasised that nutrition, education, and healthcare must remain the pillars of inclusive development.
He urged organisations to move beyond compliance and embrace CSR as a movement of shared responsibility, where governments, corporates, philanthropists, and civil society work together to create sustainable and measurable impact.
Rooted in the philosophy of “One World, One Family,” he called upon all stakeholders to institutionalise compassion through trusted partnerships and innovative platforms such as the Social Stock Exchange.

Across four strategic panel discussions, experts examined the evolving role of CSR and the Social Stock Exchange in India’s development journey.
Discussions explored strengthening transparency and governance, mobilising global philanthropy, creating credible impact measurement frameworks, supporting grassroots organisations, encouraging innovative financing models, and ensuring that CSR investments generate measurable social and economic outcomes.
A recurring theme across all sessions was that trust is the cornerstone of sustainable social impact.
Panellists agreed that stronger governance, independent assessment, institutional credibility, and long-term collaboration between government, industry, philanthropy, and civil society will be essential to unlocking significantly greater investments for nation building.

A major highlight of the conclave was the Viksit Bharat CSR Leadership Awards 2026, which recognised organisations that are redefining CSR through impactful and sustainable initiatives.
