Hi5 Youth Foundation

🌟 CSR Circle of Honour 2025 🌟

At the One World One Family – World Cultural Festival, the CSR Circle of Honour 2025 was conferred upon Hi 5 Youth Foundation, in recognition of its steadfast support to the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust and SaiSure nutrition facilities, strengthening programmes that benefit thousands of children every day.

The award was received by Mr. R. Sundar, Co-founder of Hi 5 Youth Foundation, accompanied by Mrs. Usha Sundar, Co-founder and Director of Operations. Their partnership with Annapoorna Trust reflects a shared commitment to holistic child development—integrating nutrition, education, and life skills.

Founded in 2015, Hi 5 Youth Foundation has evolved into a nationwide movement, operating over 20 basketball centres across India. Through world-class infrastructure, professional coaching, and structured life-skills training, the Foundation empowers children from municipal schools, tribal regions, and underserved communities. Many participants have progressed to represent their districts, states, and even the nation, demonstrating how access and opportunity can transform lives.

Mr. R. Sundar’s leadership continues to guide the Foundation’s strategy, scale, and sustainability, while Mrs. Usha Sundar’s dedicated efforts have been instrumental in nurturing confidence, discipline, and leadership—particularly among young girls—through sport.

🎤 Acceptance Address Highlights

In his acceptance speech, Mr. R. Sundar reflected on the transformative power of sports, sharing that while sports is often seen as secondary to education, it has the unique ability to build confidence, character, and courage. He spoke about the profound impact witnessed among children—especially girls from tribal and government boarding schools—who, through structured sports programmes, evolve into confident individuals capable of taking on the world.

He highlighted how Hi 5 Youth Foundation not only helps children dream but also ensures those dreams translate into dignity and economic opportunity. Several early beneficiaries of the programme now serve as coaches, organisers, and ambassadors—giving back to the very communities they came from. One such example he shared was of a tribal girl who today proudly identifies herself as a “basketball teacher,” symbolising empowerment through purpose.

Concluding his address, Mr. Sundar remarked that this journey is “still the first quarter,” with many aspirations ahead, and expressed gratitude for the blessings and guidance received to take the mission forward.

🙏 Gratitude

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hi 5 Youth Foundation for walking alongside us in service of the nation’s children. Partnerships such as these reaffirm the belief that when nutrition, education, and opportunity come together, meaningful and lasting transformation is possible.
