Voices from the Event

Ms. Rama Singh shared how poverty often leaves children without breakfast and how Annapoorna’s programme ensures they start their day with nourishment. She expressed gratitude to Worley India and Annapoorna Trust, highlighting that children eagerly awaited the programme’s start. She also shared her personal journey as a cancer survivor, emphasising that “the only currency we can take from this earth is the punya karma we earn.”

Mr. Yogesh Kamath spoke about the various stakeholders who make the programme possible and shared that over 1 crore children across 25 states and 4 UTs benefit from Annapoorna’s initiatives.

Ms. Ananya Dutta outlined Worley’s CSR focus areas — Women Empowerment, Sustainability, and Livelihoods — and expressed happiness that children would now receive nutritious food that she and many others never had access to during their school days.

Ms. Juhi Sinha engaged with the children, asking them about the benefits of SaiSure Ragi Multi-Nutrient Health Mix. The children enthusiastically responded with points such as boosted immunity, good taste, healthy weight gain, more energy, and better resistance to coughs and colds — all of which help them focus better in school. She thanked Annapoorna Trust for bringing “a wonder product for the growth of children” and encouraged the continuation of this impactful work.

Annapoorna Trust deeply values this collaboration, which enhances the nutritional well-being of children, and looks forward to further strengthening its shared mission of community upliftment and sustainable development.
