Annapoorna Trust Maximizing Social Impact – Impact Assessment : Delivering ₹19.2 in Social Value for Every ₹1 Spent

The Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust has proudly received a prestigious Impact Assessment Certificate from Research-N-Consulting, an independent third-party research agency. This certification is a validation of the Trust’s unwavering commitment to transforming lives through its Morning Nutrition Program.

 

A systematic evaluation was conducted for a period starting from June 2024 to February 2025, involving rigorous primary data collection, stakeholder consultations, and outcome mapping across Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.

 

The findings are remarkable. A Social Return on Investment (SROI) of 19.2. In other words, for every ₹1 invested, the program generated ₹19.2 worth of social value.

Key Outcomes from the Evaluation

 

Health Improvements: 95% of parents reported better overall health in their children. Students noted improvements in digestion (68%), energy (16%), and immunity (8%) due to the essential nutrients in the morning meals.

 

Attendance Impact: 99% of students felt more motivated to attend school regularly.

 

Boosted Energy Levels: 93% of students reported feeling more energetic throughout the school day. The nutritious mix of milk and supplements sustained their energy and alertness.

 

Academic Gains: 94% of students reported improved academic performance and focus. All parents observed noticeable learning improvements, with 95% citing better concentration in class.

Daily Nutrition Access: Despite many children skipping breakfast at home, the program filled this critical nutritional gap — ensuring thousands began their day nourished and ready to learn.

 

By providing nutritious morning meals, the initiative continues to uplift thousands of children, enhancing their focus, attendance, and overall development.
