Meeting with Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar, Assam, 11th April 2022
On 11th April 2022, Mr. Anand K Kadali, Secretary and Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust met Mr. Megha Nidhi Dahal, the Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar district, Assam.
Annapoorna Trust has been providing SaiSure Morning Nutrition from the past three months to the SAM and MAM children in the district as per the DC’s request. Complimentary feeding ICDS (Integrated Child Development Scheme) project was undertaken on malnourished children in Demow & Amguri towns in Sivasagar district, in the month of January 2022. Mr. Dahal was especially impressed on the marked changes noticed on the children’s height & weight post providing SaiSure multi-nutrient health supplement. This has given him confidence in getting the morning nutrition rolled out to school going children across the state.
The discussion in the meeting was about starting pilot programs in schools where SaiSure and milk solids are provided to about 1000-2000 children and to continue Morning Nutrition in this district of Assam.
