SaiSure Ragi Fortified Health Mix Launched at Parikrma Schools, 9th Dec 2024
On December 9, 2024, the Morning Nutrition Program was inaugurated at Parikrma schools in Sahakar Nagar, Bengaluru, introducing the nutritious and delicious SaiSure Ragi Fortified Health Mix. This impactful initiative aims to provide vital nutritional support to 1,500 students across five Parikrma schools during their morning assembly sessions.
The Parikrma Foundation empowers children from underprivileged urban backgrounds by addressing the growing socio-economic divide in urban India. The program has been made possible through the generous support of philanthropist V. Srinivasa Raju and his associates.
Annapoorna Trust was represented by Trustees – Anand Kadali, Sai Prasad Ivaturi, Jayaprakash Tallam & Prabhakar Gupta and Director of SaiSure Nutrition’s – Bharani Prasad.
The introduction of SaiSure has already received heartwarming feedback from students. Many expressed their delight at the taste, noting that it was better than the malt they previously consumed. Some children shared that the health mix kept them full until lunchtime, reducing mid-morning hunger pangs and helping them focus better on class.
This initiative is a significant step towards eradicating hunger and “hidden hunger” caused by nutritional deficiencies. By ensuring that students have full stomachs and the energy to concentrate and learn effectively, the program is paving the way for these children to thrive academically and achieve their dreams.
