Clean & Green School Excellence Awards
The Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust is pleased to announce the launch of the “Clean & Green School Excellence Awards,” an initiative to celebrate the 45th birthday of our founder Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai on 26th July. This contest is designed to recognize and reward government schools across the state that exemplify outstanding achievements in maintaining school infrastructure, sanitation, and promoting overall discipline.
Contest Details:
Eligibility: Open to all government schools that have shown exemplary commitment to maintaining a clean, green, and disciplined environment.
Criteria for Evaluation:
1. Infrastructure and Sanitation: Schools should have well-maintained buildings, clean toilets, and proper waste disposal systems.
2. Discipline: Punctuality of students, adherence to school rules, and active participation in school activities are essential.
3. Extra-Curricular Excellence: Active involvement in sports, arts, and other extra-curricular activities.
4. Community Engagement: Initiatives taken by students to engage with and improve their local communities, especially in environmental cleanliness and social services.
Prize:
– The winning 100 govt schools will be awarded a prize of ₹10,000 each
– A special feature on our website and a plaque of recognition.
Grand Prize for the best school and head master / mistress:
Among all the 100 schools final winners, the best school will be selected. The headmaster / head mistress of this best school will receive a grand prize of ₹25,000 and the school will receive ₹100,000.
Submission Guidelines:
– Submit a detailed report covering the aforementioned criteria, including photographs and any relevant supporting documents.
– Include testimonials or stories highlighting your school’s unique initiatives and achievements.
– Entries must be submitted by July 10th , 2024 as email to info@annapoorna.org.in

Formal Announcement of winners and invitation to attend the Prize distribution ceremony on July 27th
Prize Distribution Ceremony on 27th July:
We shall invite all winning teachers to attend the ceremony where prizes will be awarded.

Judging Panel:
Our panel will consist of distinguished educators, environmentalists, and social workers who will review all submissions.
