Annapoorna morning nutrition programme was launched in Salem district’s Sevvaipettai village. The children studying in the government school at the village are from families whose parents are daily wage workers. The programme started with cookies distribution.
The meals are being hygienically prepared at Adamya Chetna’s well-equipped kitchen located in Bengaluru.
The volunteers of Annapoorna Trust and Adamya Chetna come together from different locations to pack the meals for our frontline workers. They pack about 4800 meal containers for lunch and 2300 meal containers for dinner.
As part of relaunch of the Morning Nutrition Program in various districts of Telangana post COVID, a launch event was organized at Anantharam, Jagtial district in Telangana on 29th August 2022 at MPUPS School. 2500 children across 25 govt. schools will receive Ragi Java (Ragi malt) drink with jaggery on alternate days in this region….

A fun filled day with loads of happiness was seen in JP Nagar on 20th March 2016. Our volunteers arranged a ‘Thanks Giving Day’ and encouraged the children to show gratitude to Baba for providing free nutrition, education, healthcare etc., to them. The children poured their heart out and expressed their creativity through their art….
Complete grocery kits replete with broken rice, lentils, wheat flour, cooking oil, sugar, and salt; all ingredients to cook a local basic meal were provided, enough to last a month. Many families in Vizianagaram district benefited from Annapoorna Trust’s covid relief plan. This was part of the 5th phase of grocery distribution for poor families….
