Annapoorna Trust’s relief scheme at the peak of covid – September 11th, 2020
Complete grocery kits replete with broken rice, lentils, wheat flour, cooking oil, sugar, and salt; all ingredients to cook a local basic meal were provided, enough to last a month. Many families in Vizianagaram district benefited from Annapoorna Trust’s covid relief plan. This was part of the 5th phase of grocery distribution for poor families. In a phased manner Annapoorna Trust directed their efforts towards tackling hunger and ill health during this time of dire need.
