Dental hygiene kits to children and tree plantation drive with Oracle India – 17 June 2017

Annapoorna team with 35 Oracle volunteers carried out a dental oral hygiene campaign in 5 primary schools from 5 different villages across Chikkaballapur district. These schools have been beneficiaries of morning breakfast provided by Annapoorna Trust. Aiming at improved well-being, the dental doctors taught the children on oral hygiene, importance of brushing twice a day and preventing tooth decay. Further, the children were given a kit containing toothbrush and toothpaste. The Oracle volunteers planted tree saplings with the children in their school premises, thus giving them a sense of ownership and responsibility of taking care of their community.
