NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of ISRO under the Department of Space, Government of India, has been supporting the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust in providing morning nutrition to government school children across Karnataka.

This collaboration, which began in the academic year 2023–24, has now expanded to reach over 1,57,000 students, ensuring that children receive the SaiSure Millet (Ragi) Multi-Nutrient Health Mix along with government-sponsored milk — promoting better health, concentration, and learning outcomes.

Recognised for Social Commitment

At the One World One Family – World Cultural Festival, organised by the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission (SMSGHM), Annapoorna Trust was honoured to recognise NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) for its exemplary contribution to society through nutrition and healthcare initiatives. Representing NSIL were Mr. A. Arunachalam (Director – Technical & Strategy) and Mr. Geetesh Gupta (Manager – Launch Vehicle Building).

Mr. Arunachalam, during his address, beautifully captured NSIL’s philosophy of social responsibility, stating:

“Every satellite we build and launch is aimed at societal development — from agriculture and water resource management to disaster relief. We are truly honoured to be associated with this noble institution that serves humanity with a smile, inspired by Swamiji’s vision of ‘One World, One Family.’ We look forward to continuing this collaboration.”

Commitment to Nation-Building

As a Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of India, NSIL continues to drive impact through its CSR initiatives focusing on Education, Sports, Healthcare, Skill Development, Sanitation, Sustainable Development, Disaster Management Support, and Social Justice & Empowerment.

The Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust expresses its heartfelt gratitude to NewSpace India Limited for its steadfast partnership in building a healthier and stronger nation through the twin pillars of nutrition and healthcare. Together, we continue to nurture the nation’s future — one child at a time.
