Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust continues to work towards reaching out to serve more needy children across the country by providing morning nutrition. As part of this initiative , sharing ideas and thoughts with stakeholders, like-minded people, industry experts, and funding partners is an important step.
Annapoorna Trust was invited to attend the India CSR Awards, an event organised by Brand Honchos at Gurgaon, recognizing the efforts of various NGO implementing partners, and also deliberating on the way forward to bring maximum impact through corporate social responsibility efforts.
Speaking to attendees on this occasion Mr. Anand K. Kadali (Secretary and Trustee of the trust), stressed the importance of morning nutrition intervention in the schools, the impact it has on educational and health parameters, and the work done by the Trust so far along with the future goals to expand in sustainable manner the current nutrition interventions.
He also explained how many volunteers have been working towards the vision of letting no child go to school hungry, ever!
Later on, in recognition of the efforts and the impact shown, Annapoorna Trust was felicitated with the “Best School Health Programme of the Year – 2022 Award”. The team received the award from Dr. Kiran Bedi, 24th Lt Governor of Puducherry, and the 1st woman IPS officer in the country.
Annapoorna Trust is humbled by the recognition accorded to its efforts and the whole team feels encouraged to do more to reach out to the maximum number of children.
