Ready mix food distribution to Govt. School children in Chikkaballapur district, 29th and 30th Dec 2021
Amid concern over the onslaught of the third wave of COVID-19 and its variants causing intermittent school closures, ready mix food distribution carried out by Annapoorna Trust with LSG Sky chefs & Kellogg’s on 29th & 30th was a blessing in disguise for the rural children at various Govt. schools in Chikkaballapur district.

The Kellogg company, doing business as Kellogg’s, is a food manufacturing company and world’s leading producer of cereal and convenience foods including cookies, crackers etc. With its presence worldwide, the company works with the vision of “A good and just world where people are not just fed but fulfilled.”
Both the companies, LSG Sky Chefs & Kellogg’s, as part of its CSR, came forward to distribute ready food, much to the delight of rural children. Biscuits, ready mix poha, upma, oats, millets, Kellogg’s corn flakes and many more varieties of ready-to-eat food packets were distributed in school premises. Children were happy to eat some at school and took away some back home, which would suffice them for a week.

A teacher in one of the schools spoke,” Annapoorna Trust were providing Morning Nutrition regularly. Due to COVID pandemic, children are not getting the required nutrients for their body to keep themselves fit.
