A labour of love – as reported on 14th November 2019

Dani Rasa Foundation in collaboration with Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust set up a makeshift kitchen in 2018. However, this changed very soon. The year 2019 dawned with state-of-the-art machinery like bread makers, idli making automatic machines, chapathi makers, large mixers, grinders galore. Sporting two large floors this magnificent kitchen accommodates shining steel machinery and meeting all safety measures and hygiene standards built with the capacity to cook for 5000 children in Avadi. This is a labour of love and compassion for underprivileged government school going children; so that no child goes to school hungry, ever. In days to come Annapoorna Trust has plans to further increase the capacity of this kitchen.

The Honorable minister of Tamil culture, development, and archaeology of Tamil Nadu Thiru Pandiarajan was present at the launch of the breakfast nutrition for 545 needy children from the govt. school of Thandurai.
