IRDP – Nagarjuna College of Engineering students’ visit to villages and schools – October 2017
The students of Nagarjuna College of Engineering visited villages and schools and interacted with the children who were recipients of Annapoorna Breakfast Programme, as their first practical session. Through the interactions with the villagers, the students would be exposed to manifold opportunities on the practical aspects of their academic knowledge toward rural development and in executing initiatives and activities thereby improving their leadership skills, communication skills and building their self-confidence.
Like Albert Einstein said, ‘The only source of knowledge is Experience,’ the first-hand experience of these students by visiting the villages will give them the real understanding of rural life and associated vexing problems.
