Distribution of school essentials for new academic year – May & June 2016

Volunteers gathered once again, to pack school bags with new notebooks and stationery for over 600 children spread across many villages in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. All the children had a 1000-watt smile on their faces and looked forward for the new academic year with new school supplies! With several weeks of planning and packing, loading of the supplies in the cars of the volunteers, enthusiastically distributing these to the children by surprising them, the entire day was memorable and gratifying.

The volunteers were filled with joy of serving for there is no joy which can equal the joy of serving others!
