Doddabele village was the first centre where Annapoorna Breakfast program had started. In this village, inauguration of RO drinking water plant took place on 27 October 2016. A total of 400 families have been benefitting from the RO plant. Adapting modern technology, with the usage of smart cards, each family is enabled to receive 20 litres of drinking water every day.
While the endeavour of Annapoorna Breakfast Program has been to offer daily breakfast to school-going children, it is also constantly looking out for any need for infrastructural support in the breakfast-beneficiary villages.
