While we have come a long way in the last couple of years, there still are many children who we haven’t yet reached. During early October, members of “More Than HR (MTHR)” consisting of HR leaders from various top corporates across India visited schools where breakfast is currently served by the Annapoorna Team.
The Programme involves supporting the existing government healthcare system, where specific extra need is required. So, these activities are taken in conjunction with District Health Officials, and will benefit many villages currently being covered by Annapoorna.
The nutrition is in the form of “SaiSure” nutrition supplement added to the milk, presented to the child every morning, after school prayer at the school premises.
