The Northeast Leadership Awards 2026, Guwahati, Assam

The Northeast Leadership Awards 2026 was held on 26 February 2026 at Vivanta Guwahati, located on Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Path, Khanapara, Guwahati, Assam. The event is associated with World CSR Day and the World HRD Congress, and recognizes outstanding achievements in social leadership, business excellence, and individual contributions across Northeast India.

The event was headed by Aalok Pandit, Director, CMO Asia.

An initiative of EIILM Kolkata, the Northeast Leadership Awards has become an important platform to celebrate outstanding leadership and recognize individuals and organizations that are making a significant difference across the Northeastern region.   • In the fitness and wellness sector, Brindas Fit Zone was honoured as a “Fitness Super Achiever” for promoting health and fitness in the region.

Participation by Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust

Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust was represented at the event by Santosh Allath – National Manager (Operations).

During the session, Santosh showcased the work carried out by the Trust across 25 states and 4 Union Territories, where the SaiSure Malt / Millet Multi Nutrient Health Mix is served to children in government schools as part of the Morning Nutrition Programme. He also created awareness about the importance of morning nutrition in improving children’s health, concentration, and learning ability.

Santosh further highlighted the Trust’s presence in Assam, where the initiative is implemented in partnership with the Government of Assam, reaching 11,75,000 students across more than 17,000 government schools. The programme has received positive feedback from students, teachers, and the education department, demonstrating its meaningful impact on the health and well-being of school children.
