Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Nava Raipur, in the august presence of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai

On 1st November 2025, as part of the Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav marking 25 years of the formation of the State, Honโ€™ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited Chhattisgarh. Among the most heartwarming moments of his visit was the โ€˜Dil Ki Baatโ€™ programme at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital – India, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, where the Prime Minister met and interacted with 2,500 children who were successfully treated for congenital heart diseases under the โ€˜Gift of Lifeโ€™ initiative in the august presence of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai.

ย

At around 10 AM, PM Modi interacted with children โ€” once patients, now symbols of hope and resilience โ€” whose lives had been transformed through free-of-cost cardiac surgeries and post-operative care provided by the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centre for Child Heart Care.

ย

These young hearts, once frail, are now full of dreams and determination โ€” aspiring to become doctors, teachers, and athletes. Their confidence and spirit of resilience deeply touched the Prime Minister, who engaged them with warmth, humour, and inspiration.

PM Modi praised the childrenโ€™s courage and the dedication of the doctors and volunteers who made their recovery possible. He reminded them that their bodies are divine instruments to serve society and encouraged them to stay healthy, practise yoga, and live with discipline. During the interaction, he also shared the noble work of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, recalling his efforts to provide drinking water to hundreds of villages and urging everyone to contribute to environmental conservation through initiatives like โ€œOne Tree for Mother Earth.โ€ The session reflected the spirit of โ€œVasudhaiva Kutumbakam โ€“ One World One Family,โ€ celebrating compassion, service, and hope beyond boundaries.

ย

This Centre has been recognised by the Guinness World Records for hosting the largest gathering of paediatric cardiac surgery patients โ€” children once healed, now returning with grateful hearts. The moment was also graced by Sri B. N. Narasimha Murthy, Sri V. Krishnan, Dr. C. Sreenivas, Sri Vivek Narayan Gaur, and Sri Sunil Gavaskar โ€” truly echoing the spirit of โ€œVasudhaiva Kutumbakam โ€“ The World is One Family.โ€ ๐ŸŒ

Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust functions under the umbrella of the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission (SMSGHM) โ€” a global initiative spearheaded by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, dedicated to providing free Nutrition, Education, and Healthcare to millions across the world, upholding the vision of โ€œOne World, One Family.โ€

Through institutions like the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital – India, children born with congenital heart conditions have received life-saving surgeries entirely free of cost, embodying the power of service driven by compassion.
