Annapoorna Trust Team’s meet with Government school teachers, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh – March 2019
Annapoorna Trust collaborates with Department of School Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for initiating morning nutrition programme in government schools. Annapoorna Trust Team had a meeting with teachers at Government Schools to discuss the launch of Annapoorna Breakfast program in Malliah Lingaiah Bhavan, Ongole, A.P. Teachers are the valuable partners of Annapoorna Trust as the success of the breakfast program depends on their willing participation and support. Annapoorna Trust team members discussed the need for and importance of Breakfast program for enhancing the health parameters of children and also mentioned how the program had been effective in addressing malnutrition amongst children. Better nutrition also leads to better attendance, concentration, and participation of children in class.
