Celebration of Earth month with Toast Organisation in Govt. school – Chennai 9th Apr 2022

Toast.org partnered with Annapoorna Trust’s Chennai chapter to celebrate the Earth month in Apr22. Toast, Inc. is a cloud-based restaurant management software company based in Boston, Massachusetts. The company provides an all-in-one point of sale system built on the Android operating system. Toast.org is the philanthropic branch of Toast, Inc. which is focused on solving critical food issues that impact communities across the nation. Toast.org also supports and participates with organizations who make a significant contribution in areas of Food accessibility, Community and Environment.

The event held on 09 Apr 2022, was aimed at reduction in carbon footprint and address climate solutions by planting saplings at TV Nagar school, which is a beneficiary school of Annapoorna’s morning nutrition program. The event culminated with sumptuous, cooked breakfast being served to 500 students at the TV Nagar school. Mr Logamoorthy represented Toast.org and provided his valuable support along with members of their CSR team. Members of the Rotary club, who support this school on day-to-day activities have graced the occasion. Rotary Ambattur team was represented by their distinguished members, RTN Col. Bhupinder Singh and RTN Mr PN Ramachandran. Mr. Chockalingam S N – Annapoorna Trust Coordinator Tamil Nadu and Mr. Pushkar Raghavan – Hon. Consultant, CSR Partner Alliances represented Annapoorna Trust. It was a fun filled eventful day for the Trust members to spend time with children & also have breakfast together. It was also an awareness of environmental conservation for the children by joining hands together in planting the saplings.

Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust and Toast.org have a common goal to end Child Hunger. The Trust looks forward for continued collaboration with them in the coming days.
