Voices of Support from Leadership
Speaking at the event, MLA Jayanarayan Mishra appreciated the initiative:
“This is a very good initiative, very beneficial for children. When Annapoorna officials approached me, I recommended Naktideul block first, as it is an aspirational block where the need is greatest. The Trust is doing commendable work, and we will extend full support for expanding the program across Odisha.”
Rashmi Ranjan Mahanta emphasized the program’s impact on education:
“This nutrition is provided during morning assembly, encouraging children to come to school on time. It improves attendance, enhances health, and helps children focus better on their studies. I will extend support in spreading awareness across departments.”
A Growing Movement for Child Nutrition
Ashish Bhardwaj highlighted the Trust’s journey:
“We began in 2012 serving just 50 children. Today, we serve over one crore children across 25 states and 4 Union Territories. With a strong presence in South India, we are now expanding into Odisha. SaiSure provides essential macro and micronutrients, contributing to a healthier generation.”
He also acknowledged the efforts of Tirmmareddi Ramesh in facilitating the program’s launch in the region.
