National CSR Summit 2026: Driving Collaboration for Last-Mile Impact
The National CSR Summit 2026, organized by AROH Foundation, was successfully held on 16 March 2026 at the India International Centre, bringing together policymakers, corporate leaders, and development practitioners to strengthen India’s evolving CSR ecosystem.
Centered around the theme “Aligning for Last-Mile Impact: Community | Collaboration | Convergence,” the summit focused on how CSR can accelerate inclusive growth and contribute meaningfully to the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust was honored to be part of this national platform. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Kadali Anand Kumar, Trustee & CEO, underscored the importance of morning nutrition as a foundational pillar for education and nation-building.
He highlighted a critical reality—while India has nearly 25 crore school-going children, about 16 crore are in government schools, and an estimated 8 crore children attend school without breakfast. Bridging this gap, he emphasized, is essential for improving health, learning outcomes, and overall development. He advocated for the institutionalization of a simple, scalable morning nutrition intervention, suggesting cost-effective solutions such as millet-based health drinks or nutritious supplements like chikkis, which can help sustain children until mid-day meals are served.
Reinforcing that nutrition is not just a social responsibility but a national priority, he called for stronger collaboration between government, corporates, and civil society to ensure no child starts the day hungry.
The summit echoed a powerful message—real impact lies in moving from intent to action, through partnerships, scalable models, and community-driven solutions that create measurable change across India’s most underserved regions.
