CSR Circle of Honour to Vidya Jyoti

At the One World One Family Foundation World Cultural Festival 2025, we are delighted to honour Vidya Jyoti, a UK-based charitable organisation founded in 2020 and named in loving memory of Som Jyoti. Representing Vidya Jyoti this evening are Dr Pamela Kaushal (Founder and Trustee) and Shri Chander Kishore Ji (Trustee).

Since its inception, Vidya Jyoti has been dedicated to uplifting rural communities across Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Cambodia, India, and the UK through initiatives in water, healthcare, education, ICT, nutrition, and disability empowerment.

As part of its commitment to service, Vidya Jyoti has partnered with the Annapoorna Trust to provide morning nutrition to 5,000 children in Telangana and 700 tribal children in West Bengal, while also working towards extending this programme to Cambodia.
Dr. Pamela Kaushal began by expressing her deep gratitude to Sadguru and the audience, saying it was an honour for both her and her father to receive the recognition on behalf of Vidya Jyoti. She acknowledged the absence of her fellow trustees, Vishal and Angela, and thanked her mother, Jyoti, in whose name the organisation was founded, for being her source of strength and inspiration.

She went on to thank brother Ashish Bhardwaj from the Annapoorna Trust, highlighting his humility and joy, which made their collaboration meaningful. She shared that earlier in the year, they travelled together to Cambodia to initiate government approvals to transport SaiSure nutrition there. Dr. Kaushal mentioned that, inspired by Sadguru’s guidance, Vidya Jyoti had recently pledged support for an additional 5,000 children in Karnataka, expanding upon the existing support provided in Telangana and West Bengal.

She also reflected on her recent visit to a government school, where she witnessed children eagerly drinking SaiSure-fortified milk. This experience strengthened her resolve to continue serving such communities. She added that Vidya Jyoti was committed to setting up ICT labs in schools where SaiSure is provided and looked forward to deepening the partnership with the Annapoorna Trust for the welfare of more children across the world.

Their efforts are a true reflection of compassion transcending borders, nurturing healthier and brighter futures for thousands of children.
