CSR Circle of Honour to Rotary Bengaluru Platinum City

We are honoured to present the CSR Circle of Honour to Rotary Bengaluru Platinum City. Representing the organisation is Ms Sandhya Raghunandan (President 2025–26), an entrepreneur, Director at Red Graniti India, co-partner in talent development ventures, and an advocate for Indo-Italian collaboration.

Founded in 2015, Rotary Bengaluru Platinum City has been driving impactful service across health, hygiene, education, nutrition, TB elimination, and community outreach for underprivileged and marginalised groups.

Through the T.E.A.C.H. initiative, the club introduced the SaiSure nutritional supplement programme nearly four years ago, bringing nourishment to children in two schools in Yeshwanthpur and helping strengthen childhood nutrition and learning.

Ms Sandhya Raghunandan, President of the club, began her address with greetings and heartfelt gratitude. She shared that her connection with service and Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba began in her childhood in Zambia, where her father helped establish the Sai organisation in Andola. Receiving the honour, she said, felt like Sai’s prasadam — a divine blessing offered with humility and devotion.

She spoke about the club’s journey since 2015, highlighting initiatives in healthcare, education, and community welfare. The association with the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust began four years ago under then-President Rotarian Pawan Kumar Jain. Through this partnership, the club provides a nutritional drink twice a week to children at the Tamil Telugu school in Yeshwanthpur, resulting in visible improvements in their health, energy, and enthusiasm.

Ms Sandhya also mentioned collaborations with the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital, including regular eye camps and an upcoming human milk bank supported through Rotary’s Global Grants. She further described initiatives in women’s health, education, and outreach — menstrual hygiene programmes, health camps, and legal literacy drives. She also highlighted Rotary’s support for the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, through nutritional hampers and awareness programmes for TB patients.

She closed with gratitude, reaffirming Rotary’s guiding motto “𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘭𝘧” 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘩𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘯 𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘢’𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 “𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭.”

We sincerely thank Rotary Bengaluru Platinum City for their dedicated service and for creating programmes that uplift children and communities.
