Launch of SaiSure Malt Multi Nutrient Health Mix in Hosur with Sodexo in India, 9th Nov 2023

SaiSure Malt Multi Nutrient Health mix Morning Nutrition Programme was launched with the support of Sodexo, in Hosur on 09 November 2023.

The event was held at R V Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Hosur. Several dignitaries of the government and from Sodexo attended the programme. Mr. Jesuraj S – Site Director of Sodexo, Mr. Raja Mohan – Regional Head of Sodexo, Mr. Rajan C. – Head of P&A Exide Industries Ltd., Mr. A. Muniraju – District Elementary Officer (DEO), Mr. Muniraj – Headmaster of the school, Mr. Kumaravel – Block Resource Officer (BRC) Head, Mr. T. Nagarajan – School Management Committee Head were present at the event. Annapoorna Trust was represented by Mr. Ashish Bharadwaj – National Manager CSR, Mr. Vivek Kumar – Manager, Govt. and CSR Alliances, Mr. T. Saravanan – Regional Manager of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Nearly 2,465 children across 7 government schools in Hosur and Bangalore Urban region studying from Class 6 to 10 will receive SaiSure Malt Multi Nutrient Health Mix. A demonstration of preparation of the health mix along with milk powder was done for the cooks and staff present at the event.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. A. Muniraju – District Elementary Officer (DEO), spoke about how the government had already started a pilot project of providing breakfast to primary school children up to class 5 in Tamil Nadu. He expressed his delight with the morning nutrition programme starting for class 6 to class 10 students, and hence every child in the school would receive proper morning nutrition. He also conveyed his regards to Sodexo and Annapoorna Trust for this initiative.

Mr. Muniraj – Headmaster at RV Government Boys Higher Secondary School addressed the gathering on the importance of nutrition.

Mr. Raja Mohan – Regional Head of Sodexo, mentioned that the government school students are highly talented, capable, smart in thinking, have the curiosity to know, and have good listening skills. ‘They need just a lead to change their life,’ he stated. He expressed that it was a feeling of exhilaration to be part of such CSR initiatives and to connect with such sweet people.

Mr. Ashish Bharadwaj – National Manager CSR of Annapoorna Trust, said, ‘Morning nutrition provided to children will lead to them being more active, with no tiredness, and increase in their memory. SaiSure health mix covers 50% of the daily RDA requirement for the child. It has also been shown to increase the overall health parameters and well-being of the child. This health mix is a scientifically designed health mix providing vital nutrients and micronutrients acting as a wholesome meal in itself.’

Nutrition for every child in our society is the most fundamental requirement. It is our duty and collective responsibility to ensure every child receives it. Let us not stop until no child goes to school hungry, ever.
