Formal Launch of Breakfast Programme – Visakhapatnam November – 2017

The formal launch of Annapoorna’s breakfast programme in Vizag was carried out in the presence of Honourable Minister for HRD Shri Ganta Srinivasa Rao  on 14th November 2017. Many Government officials from the Education Department and over 500 school children are going to be an integral part of Annapoorna Trust family with this leap.

 

The State HRD Minister, Sri Ganta Srinivasa Rao pledged his government’s support for the initiative by stating that Annapoorna is giving breakfast to more than 12000 children every day and expressed hope to expand this service to 1 lakh children in the coming months and then expand it to the entire state, if this model succeeds.
