Youth from Deshpande Foundation visit Sathya Sai Grama – Jan 23rd, 2017
120 Youth from Deshpande Foundation visited Sathya Sai Grama. Deshpande Foundation is an NGO founded by Jaishree and Gururaj ‘Desh’ Deshpande, who has supported sustainable, scalable social and economic impact through innovation and entrepreneurship in the United States, Canada, and India. These youth visited the Muddenahalli campus as part of the LEAD (Leaders Accelerating Development) Prayana 2017 program.
The volunteers of Annapoorna Trust humbly presented to them the noble initiatives undertaken in Education, Nutrition and Healthcare. After an inspiring interactive session with the youth, they were shown the campuses and the villages with RO plants installed. With many ideas and thoughts shared by the young and budding entrepreneurs, these youth appreciated Annapoorna Trust’s initiatives in bringing changes to the society through Education, Nutrition and Healthcare. They were inspired by the young leaders of the Trust who worked for the society selflessly and also appreciated the Trust for the gifting pure drinking water to the inmates of Byranayakanahalli village.
Doing good for other people is contagious. Seeing someone do something good for someone else will motivate people to perform selfless acts of service!
