Phase 2 of Grocery kits distribution for MDM cooks in Mahabubnagar and Jangaon districts, Telangana

 
Annapoorna Trust with the support of Rural India Supporting Trust (RIST) and Partnerships for Change (PFC), have come forward to support mid-day meal cooks in rural government schools in various states. As a part of the second phase of this relief programme, dry ration kits have been supplied to mid-day meal cooks in Mahabubnagar and Jangaon districts in Telangana on the 7th of July and 12th of July respectively.

About 103 mid-day meal cooks families in Mahabubnagar and 105 in Jangaon district have been provided with 1 Month dry ration consisting of 10kg of rice, 2kg of wheat flour, 1 kg of toor dal, 1kg channa dal, 1 litre cooking oil, 2kg of sugar, 1kg of salt, vermicelli, chilli powder, jeera, mustard and turmeric. An overall of 15000 needy families of cooks, reeling under the effect of pandemic, are being benefited by this distribution programme.
