Annapoorna Morning Nutrition launch in Himachal Pradesh, 27th April 2022
On 27th April, Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust launched its pilot project in Himachal Pradesh.
Director of Elementary Education, Dr. Pankaj Lalit; Jt. Director Admn., Dr. Bhuwan Sharma, and various other members of the Mid-day Meal Scheme and Elementary Education Department were present during the function.
Mr. Santosh, National Manager of SSSAT spoke: “We are happy to bring SaiSure micronutrient health mix to the children of Himachal Pradesh to provide them nutrition during morning breakfast so that their attention towards studies and their overall health profile could improve. We are very thankful to the administration for providing us necessary inputs and permission to start the project. With the help of the government and the administration, we look forward to scaling this project to all the school children of Himachal Pradesh.”
Director of Elementary Education, Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Pankaj Lalit, welcomed SSSAT’s efforts and extended his support: “It is a commendable effort because children are our future. We will be happy to extend all our support whenever it is necessary to take this project to other schools and children of Himachal Pradesh.”
Other delegates also extended their support and wished the project well. For the pilot project, Shimla-4 block has been chosen in which 1239 children from 15 schools will be served SaiSure on daily basis for three months.
