CENERG’s contribution towards enriching communities in Telangana
CENERG Global Tools Private Limited, established in Hyderabad in 2012, has made significant strides not only in the field of rotary drill bit manufacturing but also in enriching the lives of communities in Telangana. With an impressive monthly output of around 2,500 bits and a clientele spanning 20 countries, CENERG recognizes its societal responsibilities and has actively engaged in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Since 2021-22, CENERG has partnered with the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust to provide nutritious SaiSure Ragi Multi Nutrient Health Mix with jaggery to government school children in Telangana. Through this program, approximately 4,500 students benefit from daily servings during assembly hours, reaching a milestone of 495,000 servings annually.
Ragi, or finger millet, is celebrated for its rich nutritional profile. High in calcium, it supports strong bone and dental health, while its fiber aids digestion, and iron promotes healthy blood. Additionally, ragi’s antioxidants help children feel relaxed and energized throughout the school day, fostering a healthy foundation for their future development.
This partnership aligns with Annapoorna Trust’s vision for a malnutrition-free India, and CENERG’s commitment strengthens this endeavor by contributing to the well-being and growth of young minds.
