Red Education team’s visit to Sathya Sai Grama, 27th August 2022
Red Education team visited Sathya Sai Grama on 27th August 2022. They were welcomed by the Annapoorna Management team and Trustees and were then given a guided tour of the ashram and Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital. Mr. Sai Prasad Ivaturi – Trustee and Treasurer of the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, briefed them about free value-based education, free nutrition and free health care services that our organization has been providing to the rural poor and the deprived sections of the society. He also shared with them about SaiSure Morning Nutrition being provided to children across Karnataka and how the mission has expanded across the entire country and benefited several children.

The team then visited Chegatenahalli Government High School, Chikkaballapur. The staff and management team took an active part in spending a quality time with the children. They interacted with them about developing self-confidence and also about importance of health and hygiene as an important part of lifestyle. They also served SaiSure Health drink to the children and promised to provide the school a projector and steel glasses for the SaiSure drink.
It was heartening to see Red Education team take an active part in the holistic nurturing of the children. The basic necessities of nutrition, education and healthcare to every child is not merely the responsibility of the parents to whom it is born but is the collective responsibility of the entire society!
