My best wishes to the donors who are behind this noble programme of providing morning nutrition to more than 500,000 children in 22 states & 3 union territories. Annam has taken the form of Para Brahman for the hunger-stricken school going children who are being provided stomach full of food by this Trust under the guidance of Founder & Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust – Sadguru Madhusudan Sai.

I prostrate myself in front of Sadguru for this noble idea of filling the children’s stomach with healthy and nutritious first meal of the day. This results in school children concentrating well in academics and also having good health. These children will eventually become better citizens of our nation. Not only Government, but institutions like Annapoorna Trust also have taken up the responsibility of uplifting the society. Many of them have quit their jobs which would have earned them lakhs of rupees and have come forward to serve the society. Sathya Sai Baba used to tell, “Manav Seva is Madhav Seva”. On behalf of my constituency, I thank Mr. Anand Kadali & Mr. Sai Prasad Ivaturi of Annapoorna Trust. We promise to our lord to provide 100% support to this program and make it successful.
