Grocery kits to 500 needy families of government school cooks in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh
On June 9th, Annapoorna team, in the presence of Honourable Minister of Education, Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Adimulapu Suresh at Markapur town, launched an event of distribution of grocery kits to 500 needy families of government school cooks in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh.
The honourable minister expressed his appreciation for the various relief activities taken up by Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, especially during the pandemic. The grocery kits were distributed in Giddalur, Yerragondapalem and Addanki parts of Prakasam district.
This programme, with the support of Rural India Supporting Trust (RIST) and Partnerships For Change (PFC), is providing relief to needy rural families of government school cooks in several states who haven’t been able to sustain themselves and their families during these hard times.
