Celebrating children, the future of every Nation on – 14th November 2019
Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust launched its morning nutrition programme for underprivileged children. The location was a government school in Avadi, a popular suburb on the outskirts of Chennai. The children of this school had most of their parents working in the rail coach manufacturing unit in Avadi. Parents being unable to provide a healthy breakfast to them due to their early work schedules were relieved. The Honorable minister Thiru K Pandiarajan was present at the launch. He lauded Annapoorna Trust for its work in bringing nutrition to needy children. Children especially from poor homes make for a large population in India. They are our future and unless they are healthy and taken care of with love and compassion, as a nation we cannot progress.
