Christ University students’ interaction with Annapoorna children at Doddenukundi, Marathalli – 19 September 2019

16 students, in their first year of B. Com (F&A), from Christ University, as part of their assignment conducted surveys and interacted with the children in Government Public School, Doddanekundi. They served more than 220 students from classes 1-7 with hot breakfast and interacted with children of grades 3-5. They also surveyed the impact of Morning Nutrition on the children. The Headmistress of the school explained improvement in attendance and health of the children as a result of daily Morning Nutrition.

 

It is important that youth is sensitized to social issues like malnutrition etc., which is prevailing in the world today. They are the dynamic, important part of the society who would be the change agents to create a peaceful, healthy and a happy world.
