Flood relief activities by Annapoorna Trust volunteers – August 2019
The volunteers of Annapoorna Trust served food to about 330 flood affected victims in Old Hubli. These people could not cook for themselves and were in helpless situation. The corporator of the area, Mr. Basheer Godmal helped the team in identifying people from the most affected houses.
Another place, Lolasur village in Gokak taluk was also affected by the floods. Team of One Nation Youth and Annapoorna Trust at once plunged into flood relief activities in this area as well.
Natural calamities cause tremendous difficulties to the underprivileged sections of the society. It is our collective responsibility to stand with them in the time of dire need.
