There was a breakfast launch at T Bellalam, a school in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu state by Annapoorna Trust volunteers. This morning nutrition drive was the first of its kind in this area. ‘Dinamani’ a leading Tamil newspaper covered the event, with praise for Annapoorna volunteers who take no time in setting by their breakfast service where needy poor children are in dire conditions.
Annapoorna Trust was adjudged the Winner of Rotary Karnataka NGO Awards 2020 under the category ‘Health, Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation’ category. The awards were presented in the Third Annual Rotary Karnataka CSR Conference and Awards by the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Dr Ashwathnarayan C. N.
Annapoorna team, with the support of local volunteers, distributed grocery kits to 250 goverment and private voluntary teachers in Parigi area in Vikarabad district in Telangana.
