Annapoorna Trust Members’ meet with Puducherry Cabinet ministers – 7th Jun 2022
On 7th Jun 2022, Mr. Anand K. Kadali – Executive Secretary & Trustee – Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust & Mr. Santosh Allath – National Manager of Annapoorna Trust met Mr. A. Namassivayam – Minister of Home, Electricity, Industries and Commerce, Education including collegiate Education, Sports and youth welfare, Sainik Welfare – Govt of Puducherry & Mr. K. Lakshminarayanan – Minister of Public Works, Tourism, Civil aviation, Fisheries and Fishermen welfare, Law, Information Technology, Stationery and Printing – Govt of Puducherry.
Mr. Anand and Mr. Santosh shared the details about the ‘school health’ program that are run by the Trust in various States and Union Territories, by providing nutrition intervention to children in the form of breakfast. From 23 June 2022, distribution of SaiSure multi nutrient health mix post COVID pandemic would be restarted for 25,000 government school children in Puducherry.
Annapoorna Trust expresses its gratitude to Mr. A. Namassivayam & Mr. K. Lakshminarayanan for assistance in obtaining relevant permissions & arrangements to work towards achieving the Trust’s vision of, “Let No Child Go to School Hungry, Ever!” A beautiful synthesis of the 3S system of Samaja (Society), Sarkara (Govt.), and Samstha (Institutions) working in tandem will surely go a long way in serving the underserved.
