Annapoorna’s Morning Nutrition Launch in Nizamabad District – Feb 2018

Annapoorna Breakfast Programme was launched in Mehaboob Nagar, Telangana State. This launch saw the coming together of Sarkara (Government officials), Samaja (community) and Sanstha (Annapoorna Team), to start the breakfast programme for 150 children in Government Primary School, Yedira.

The inaugural launch took place after consultation with the village panchayat and school authorities, and was attended by the local MLA Sri Srinivas Goud, who offered his support for Annapoorna’s work. Other dignitaries in attendance were the District Education Officer, Teachers and Staff of the school, villagers, and Annapoorna volunteers. Many Local & Regional newspapers covered the news and applauded the efforts of Annapoorna Team.

This will certainly be an important step towards better health of these children.
