Nutrition Kits provided to 18000 Covid patients in Govt. Hospitals of Karnataka with the support of Microfocus

Since May, free nutrition kits are being provided to over 18,000 COVID patients admitted at District and Taluk government hospitals across Chikkaballapur, Mandya, Gulbarga and Tumkur. Each kit consists of dry fruits, juice, biscuit and fresh fruits, that aid in quicker recovery.

The food items have been carefully chosen to suit the dietary needs and the appropriateness for convalescing Corona patients, as an aid to the government’s effort in providing adequate nutrition. The programme was launched on 06-MAY-2021 starting with the district of Chikkaballapur, and necessary permissions have also been received for the districts of Mandya, Gulbarga and Tumkur.
