Rise Against Hunger is a nonprofit organization with a vision of a ‘World without Hunger’. They focus on Nourishing Lives, Empowering Communities, and Responding to Emergencies. Originally established to aid communities affected by natural calamities, Rise Against Hunger expanded its reach to support below-poverty-line families by supplying raw food materials. Packing is done by corporate employees as part of their volunteering programs.
As an organization, they are recognized for supplying fortified rice and essential pulses and have been a key supporter of Annapoorna Trust in providing nutritious meals for government school children for the past 4 to 5 years in the states of Karnataka & Telangana.
